Monday in Tokyo

There were no blackouts this morning, but the trains / metros were a mess.
So, I walked to work (60min+)
Surprised to see that many people were walking and riding their bicycles to work (diligent people!).
Bought my lunch on my way at a convenience store.   There were like 70% stocks there.
The streets looked very vacant than usual.
Tried to take train/

Amazed myself to see how people can be so patient and calm (well, there are sort of panics everywhere^^;)

Odd thought just struck me - is it ok to come in late or not come in at all?

I think most of the offices are allowing employees to stay/work home for a week now^^

Things might be getting on slow but everyone is trying to move towards recovery bit by bit.
