Is it proper for a doctor to perform a laser eye correction procedure on a patient?
My answer is obviously NO. Nature gave you bad eyes, and it's up to you to live with them. Who are you to talk back to nature? The same can be said for all congenital conditions. Assuming you are "properly formed" (ie, not dead) you have a duty to respect and abide by the conditions thrust upon you, and improving your station is immoral and reprehensible.
You could very well ask which is worse, laser eye correction or shooting yourself in the head with a Civil War-era revolver. Personally I'd choose the latter.
I'm in a stupidity-collecting mood. I clap my hands with joy at what you have brought me. I even added a new icon just for this.
I'm not surprised though. Of course an Objectivist would get huffy about objective sex.
Well, not surprised at the opposition. I didn't expect Medicare fraud, brain scooping, and then "it's like Nazis!" That's the strawberry pony frosting on the stupidity cupcake.
