How old does a person have to be before they are granted their rights? I too would be pushing this all the way to SCOTUS. I would also be doing what I could to get ALL those involved charged with sexual assault. Zero-tolerance be damned! They did this to a student all based on the hearsay of another student

That's ridiculous and I hope to high Heaven that the girls' family win the case. It still won't erase her memory of the experience or the trauma of it all. Poor thing.

I know what you men about the icon .. mine is the same way. :)

A friend stated that the parents should have been called so that they could allow or refuse the search. I believe that is true they should have been called. Another friend stated once the school had called him; he would have hung up and called the cops. Stating "If I was the parents I would have called the police immediately and told them I'm going to be at the school in 10 minutes, the principle and 2 staff members just stripped my child to their underwear in the office for no reason... I suggest you get there before I do."

I think that probably sums up how I would feel. You don't fuck with my family.

If this was my child (and yes for those who dont know me, I have a soon to be 3 year old little girl). I would not only sue the school board, but also attempt to have everyone involved chrg'd with assult. and then perhaps sue them. I am like a mother lion, you do not touch my daughter unless I say so.
