I couldn't help noticing your selection of a Tom Lehrer song. Man, where is that sharp wit and brilliant satire now, when we need it so much?

I have a couple of Tom Lehrer compilations, and I love listening to them with my dad, with whom I share a generally anti-establishment sense of humour that resonates very much with Lehrer's work.

I just wish there were more songwriters on the current scene with Lehrer's ability to spotlight hypocrisy with clever musical satire.

Since you're using the Sugarbear weekend pic and mentioning Tivo & Battlestar Galactica... Could you be a dear and somehow tape this Fridays Sci-Fi channel line-up which includes:
SG1 Part II of season finale
SG Atlantis Part II of season finale, &
Battlestar Galactica part I of season finale

Well, happy to do so, since TIVO would anyway. It has this creepy "supposed " AI feature that tracks what programs I watch and record, and how I rate them. It then records other things it thinks I will like, and lists them as suggestions. I've found that it seems to record the following without me needing to ask:

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
Invader Zim
MXC: Most X-treme Elimination Challenge (Spike's rehash of Takeshi's Castle)
Stargate: SG1
Andromeda
