Peace, dignity and lessons learned at an awful cost...

The horror that had become this poor woman's death is finally over. If anything positive can be said to have come of her protracted suffering, for me it was the following lessons:
  • We got to see just how meddling and relentlessly power mad some politicians are (when a convenient political pawn, and enough rabid busy body right-wingers appear).

Don't forget we still will see the more rabid of the congressional right wingers advocating turning the judicial system into pawns for congress.

I nearly puked at the arrogance of DeLay today (as if I should be shocked at anything that spews from that pompous idiot) with his commentary: ``The time will come for the men responsible for this to answer for their behavior,'' House Majority Leader DeLay ranted ``an arrogant, out-of-control, unaccountable judiciary that thumbed their nose at Congress and the president.''
Apparently DeLay feels the courts should be an instrument of the president and Congress' godly will... interesting ( ... )

Her parents were the first to cash in. Thay have already sold all the names of donors to other companies so they can solicit then in the name of Terri. How greedy and truly sad.
