so had my first official day of work, on my own. i've had 5 training days, all which have been fun and learnt lots. anyways, today nothing unforseen happened.. no major problems to be solved.. no late calls from the floors, no messages to check.. the highlight of the shift was when one of the employees came into the office a bit traumatized: a ( Read more... )

Upon reading your previous post, I was hoping to hear about your co-worker's sex change op. Only kidding. Your new work place sounds so exciting. I've always wanted to work in food (except I would only be there to eat it...not to actually "supervise" what is going on).

I can fully understand what you mean from your previous post about going on a mission. I never got the chance to go on mission during uni but a lot of my friends who did go said it was one of the best times of their lives. I'm sure God will call you to go on mission.

I continue to pray that the Lord will use you as an awesome servant for Him and that you will continue to glorify God as you have here on LiveJournal.

hey thanks chris, nice to hear from you. yeah, we'll get our chance to go on overseas missions some day, but as for now.. where we live, the people we meet everyday.. this is our mission field.. God really uses us in our own surroundings every day, it's really cool actually.

as for the ex-female supervisor.. i met another employee.. sweet filipina lady. she said that the supervisor is her husband's cousin! but she didn't really talk about the sex-change, she just made a funny face. hehe.

i guess i could have eh.. but rico said it's a weekday night and you wouldn't come out anyways, cos you have to work! i'll be back again in the next few weeks.. FOR SURE then OK?! :)
