Maravilla Yunquena was the most enjoyable musically. Thank you for continuing with the daily journal entries. I will eventually get my recordings and select pics up.

PS: I saw that statue of the native but didn't focus on it or research. Thank you for sharing that info. I agree, why isn't there a movie yet.

Cuz Hatuey is just too bad-ass!

I'm glad I read up on the guy. His quote is really um, well, not quite inspiring, but def motivational in the let's kick Spain's ass kind of sense!

Reminds me of Japanese and perhaps other tribal people sensibility, recognizing and honoring one who chooses honor and their idea over survival.
