I'm so excited to see that I'm not the only one who struggled with translating this! I tried to do it myself but I was all "O_X" lol I love the visuals with the driving concept.

I also read this song as being along the lines, too, of the singer/person in the song only being able to encounter or be with the object of her affection in her dreams. Her dreams being the only place they can really exist. Which is not only why he's her delusional lover (she deludes herself that he could be/is her lover), he's a lover that can only exist in her fantasies. He's her fantasy lover, and also, she's a crazy/delusional lover for still feeling for him. He indeed exists, but something is also keeping him from being her lover in real life, which is why she depends so much on her dreams/fantasies.
