today i saw a homeless woman crouching down next to a telephone on a corner and start crying. i didn't know what to do. it was one of the saddest things i've ever seen.

the radio said 2008 was an exceptionally eventful year. i don't know if that's true, but certainly a lot happened. the new year saw me coming back to school to set out on creative endevors. i choreographed a dance piece, i directed 40 minute show. i spent mind-numbingly long hours working on 1/4 inch scale sets, i put together a creative writing ( Read more... )

christmas this year was quite wonderful. it was filled with good food, good people, and good times. i always love it when my mom laughs a lot, and ben's really good at getting her to do it. we went sliding after dinner tonight, it was excellent. and then my dad read us the entirety of "a child's christmas in wales" before going to bed. i forgot ( Read more... )

so this week was my last macweekly of the year, i stayed until the end, 5am, which was ridiculous because i get up for work at 8 but there it is.i'm glad i stayed. we had a good time, editing, laying out, writing, dancing, pizza. we have this tradition of running footraces, guys one and a girls. i tied for second in the girls' that was cool ( Read more... )
