Like I said before, the lack of a crowd is really disturbing. Especially since there's only Riku there when Phoebus asks about the gypsy woman (which- hmm, would Riku have heard the word before? :|a). Yeah, let's just ask the one person standing around and not pursue it any further. Okay!
…I've forgotten things, but yeah wow Riku sure takes the gargoyles in stride… huh. And then a bridge and a gargoyle chasing us! Wow this bridge is cluttered. Also the gargoyle is super colourful, my god.
Burning the house with the gypsies, and Frollo shows signs of darkness… also apparently he's getting to control the gargoyle Dream Eater? Okay.
…I kind of think all this would be better suited to a Heartless story, but whatever.
Anyway, that place is burning, we head back to the square, and apparently Frollo wants to set all of Paris on fire, too, I'm sure that's going to work out well. He's got a sword and… I think he was threatening Esmerelda or something, but then he called up the gargoyle and it… knocked him off into the flames? I don't know. The sword clatters beside Riku, and we deal with the gargoyle. Which finally explained to me how to use Faithline to defeat things, so that's cool.
…and then this Xehanort clone and FUCKING ANSEM TURN UP, WHAT. WHAT. "Your best friend is never far" oh SCREW YOU TOO XEHACLONE. At least Ansem!heartless doesn't say anything, but thaaaaat's kind of weird, what. I thought Riku absorbed all of him!
…oh yeah and there's a subplot about Quasimodo not letting his heart be a prison or something, which doesn't entirely make sense. I mean… this is um, the seventeenth century? And people do tend to judge on looks… Guys, Frollo kind of has a point there. I mean, the rest of his thing kind of sucks, but… :\
The Festival of Fools also just has Quasimodo and a bunch of Dream Eaters. It's actually kind of cool, apart from when they all freak out when Frollo's on the scene.
And Sora gets to see Quasimodo carry Esmeralda out of the cathedral (wow, impressive jumping), and then the Court of Miracles plot. Frollo… knocks him out, for some reason? And then we fasttrack to the square, and the only thing I think of when Quasimodo does his ropeswinging thing is the Tarzan cry. And Frollo falls off, onto the gargoyle drainage, and- into the fire again, what? What?
And then Xehaclone appears- and Vanitas briefly, what!- and Xehaclone says something about Sora's heart being a prison. Uhhh. Isn't this guy a charmer.
and then we get an intermission with Roxas and Axel on the station tower. "You promised to always bring us back". Huh! Cute, kind of. (Xioooooon.)
After which we see Axel- or Lea, I guess- and five of the apprentices in the computer room in Radiant Garden, what! H… hurrah? \o/? Why is Lea still in his Organisation coat when the others are back in their guard/science clothes? Maybe we'll find out later.
…wow the dive for the Grid is a pain and a half I don't actually want to replay that for a better score :| The world looks okay though! Let's see how this is to navigate in comparison with Space Paranoids…
