I signed up for the $7.00 a month for life account, totally beats the huge amount in etsy fees that I'm paying now PLUS they let you link to your etsy site anyways. That looks (and sounds) pretty awesome... how are you finding it so far? I may or may not give it a go... my fear is spreading myself too thin on the internet, being on Etsy, Folksy and DaWanda already...

So far I am really liking it. I think they have covered a lot of bases that etsy has overlooked- for instance when you make a listing it adds it directly to google base. They also have something called a "market hub" which has little buttons that link right to your etsy, indiepublic, website, etc. It's easier and faster to list items there and you are allowed more pictures. AND I am REALLY excited about the $7 a month flat fee. To me that is just amazing. So far I have only had 3 sales there, but the way I see it is that has paid my first month already and made it worth it. I am seeing more and more people sign up to there and really think it's going to get huge fast. I strongly encourage you to sign up! It's just seven bucks, if you don't like it then you can cancel.. ya know? The $7 accounts are going fast though so you should hurry!
(annnnnnnnd I suddenly feel like a spokesperson for artfire...) Really though, you should sign up. I'm not just saying that because I want the referral either!

No referrals yet :(
I had two people tell me they signed up but I'm not seeing the referrals credited to my account at all. I'm thinking either it takes awhile, the people didn't refer from my link or use my name, or they signed up for the free accounts and not the $7/month ones.
You will have to let me know what you think if you do decide to sign up, I am curious!
