Scott didn't call me yesterday. I wouldn't care, if he hadn't said anything about it ( Read more... )

Maybe Scott's saving it for a special phone call today. :)

How do you get such vivid colors with watercolor? Every time I've painted, things are so washed out! LoL! It's why I always used acrylics. ;)

I layer the colour on until the base shade is how I want it then just keep layering. I generally don't like watercolour as they don't look solid enough to me. Acrylics are just better! ;)
You can mix with white too to get the colour to stand out more and look more 'solid'.

Happy V Day Fio!
And just start with a dark colour, and add only a tiny bit of white to it to make it look a bit more solid, then layer layer layer layer til it looks like how you want it. It seems to work!

Sucks that I got the call last night and you didn't. But I've been waiting longer! Oooh I hate that girl--- I'm still on that. Nevermind.

I like your watercolor painting. Less water = more color, right? Hope youre triptych is coming along :)

lol@ you still being mad at that girl. She does sound a bit mind bending honestly.
Its ok he didn't call last night because he called today (YAY!) and should be calling back later tonight, and I'm just happy chad finally got to call you, and hope he gets to call you tonight too!

Less water does mean more colour but the base colour will still be the same, there are some other tricks as well. Do you paint tooooo?
