Summary: Eunhyuk and Donghae loved each other very much just like soulmate, Donghae liked coffee very much but not Eunhyuk, she just always ordered a cup of coffee every time they both went out together for a drink, once Eunhyuk complained about that, everything went upside down.
Eunhyuk’s POV
Today is Sunday, we don’t have to go to school, seem like it’s been a long time since we last went out together. Why not today? I thought then grabbed my phone, pressing the phone button with my girlfriend’s number.
“hello, Hyukkie” Donghae said when she picked the phone.
“hi, babe, are you free today?”
“of course I am, I am always free for you”
“let’s get out for a drink dear”
“okay, why not? When?”
“must be now, just a morning passed without seeing your face, I miss you like crazy”
“okay. I’m waiting for you here”
“promise, 5 minutes later, I’ll be there, bye bye”
We hang up the phone.
I quickly grabbed my car key and drove to her house, our houses are near each other, only 2 blocks, 5 minutes later, I arrived at Donghae’s house, she was waiting for me ^^.
She came in the car and quickly gave me a pace kiss on my right cheek. This is how I love you Donghae, you always melt my heart.
“Hyukkie, where are we going to?” she asked me.
“where to you want to? Get a drink?”
“you’re asking me?”
“if not you then who?”
“no changing your mind okay?”
I said nothing but just nodded
“YES, let’s go to Daily Coffee”
“huh? Coffee again? I don’t like coffee baby!”
“but you said you let me decide right?” she pouted
“but Donghae, you know coffee isn’t good for your health. You must stop drinking it, I order you”
“NO, I like it since I was young” she suddenly shouted at me.
“why? Can’t you stop drinking it for me?” I stopped the car and shouted back.
“why do I have to stop? It’s my favorite ever since” she yelled again not even looking at me.
“I’m your boyfriend; can’t you just do this for your boyfriend?”
“what the hell with you today Hyukkie, why you ask me to stop drinking coffee in a sudden like this? You also know from the start that I like coffee.” She yelled again, I could see her face went red because of the anger.
“I hate coffee okay? I always try to calm myself down every time I see you drink coffee.” I wasn’t better than her, I yelled at her too.
“I don’t care how much you hate coffee but please remember, nobody can stop me from drinking coffee even you”
I was shocked by her last sentence, I had nothing to say, and then she continued: “today going out for a drink, just cancel it, I have no feeling now.” That sentence was the last sentence for Donghae I could hear.
When she finished her sentence, she opened the car door and run along the road back, I didn’t even happen to catch her or else, I thought just let us calm ourselves down first.
When I was about to drive back home, I heard a PANG sound at the back of my car, when I turned to see it, I saw a crowed and heard one person said that: “how pity this girl is?” another one said that: “what happen to her? Her face is teary”
In the sudden of time, I felt my heart bounced very quick, I never felt like that before, never even once, what exactly is happening to me? I thought as I made my way to the accidental happened place. I saw a girl, her body look very alike to Donghae. God, please don’t let that girl to be Donghae! I could only pray.
My heart fell from my lung to the road when I could clearly see who that girl is. That yellow T-shirt, that black jeans, god, don’t tell me this is Donghae, please let me wake up from this nightmare please I couldn’t believe what happen in front of me, she is my Donghae, Donghae was lying on the road with blood, her body went red because of blood. I didn’t care how many people in front of me who block me from her, I run quickly to pick her up from the road. I couldn’t stop my tears, I couldn’t hold it anymore.
“Donghae, wake up!!!!, I won’t stop you from drinking coffee anymore, please wake up Donghae, I need you, my life won’t be fulfill without you, god please give me a chance, only one please, Donghae I won’t argue with you anymore. Come back to me Donghae!!!!!”
A week later
After we’re done with Donghae’s funeral, all of our friends tried to comfort me saying that Donghae is in peaceful place now.
After Donghae gone, one day I went to the coffee shop call Daily Coffee, tried to taste what Donghae like very much, I don’t know why, since I was born, I really hate coffee, I had never tried even once in my life until that big event, and it changed my world upside down.
Now, I drink coffee everyday; try to feel that Donghae is beside me all the time.
Donghae, I should have tried to drink coffee when you were with me.
