Pat!!! It's awesome to finally see an LJ post proving your continued existence! ^_~ hehe for awhile there I thought that perhaps you got sucked into Vana'diel and decided to just stay there, fighting off monsters and leveling to 50 or something... ^_~

Anyway!! Great to see things are going so awesomely for you :D :D :D I totally can't wait 'till the day I walk into my gym and they're playing your music video on all the screens ^_~

as always, right back atcha, buddy. couldn't be more stoked for your success at this point - it symbolically vindicates not only your hard work over a fucking ten year period (jesus!) but also the entire attitude of bedroom electronic music, the digital fever computer belief that you could progress from CoolEdit beatless raps and screamtracker noise collages into something semi-listenable, into solid songs, into completely unexpected territory - that entire arc of personal music progress COMPLETELY outside the normal garage band/bar scene/house shows/whatever world of the standard arc. i don't know if this is making much sense, but just generally the feeling that you could make music entirely as a hobby/obsession on your own, taking so much excitement in each little bit of progress along the way, being almost completely self-taught --- and the non-self-taught part being by sharing tracks on the internet with a few similarly-minded characters and sharing feedback --- and reach a point where not only are you convinced you' ( ... )
