One week ago today, I was taken to hospital by ambulance suffering from a combination of congestive heart failure and renal failure.

The odds are against me. But it is all right. I am content with it. I have my books and so forth, am in no pain and quite serene. Please do not feel bad or upset.

Is there anything you would like us to do? Also, if anything bad should happen will there be someone to let your online friends know?

That is a good thing to know at this point. Hospice is wonderful, supplies all I need to be comfortable. So I can concentrate on what I want.

Thank you. I am here although I tire easily and find I need the oxygen hose more than I like. LOL

I have been fearing the worst; i was on lj two days ago and it dawned on me that i had not seen a post of yours in ages when i checked your last post to see it was just over a week ago... i have been saying in my head 'come on Ikon, say something, make a post, be alright'

Your still fighting on then? Good, I want you round here more often there's been a distinct void with you not being here, it partly explains why i haven't been around much.

What's your next move?

My next move is to expire with what dignity I can. I declined dialysis and chose hospice for that reason. It is OK
