I love the tribune building for the stones from all over the place, when my brother and mother came and visited we went around looking at places we had been the great wall, athens, etc. and reminiscing

I didn't know that about the Tribune Building - we didn't get a very close look. that's awesome!
also: The Daedalus/Icarus mosaic made me think of you. :)

I love that mosaic too because it raises such a really great point about that myth,

Daedalus gets off the island! Everyone focuses on how Icarus shows the dangers of man and new technology, but they seem to forget DAEDALUS GETS OFF THE ISLAND!!!!
