I saw it - she still hasn't changed the stuff I told her was wrong, too (like the badmouthing Support - the way she makes it sound, they love the info page and who cares what users think).

People spreading misinformation does not help. Grrr.

Very true. With this one I was around to give my 2 cents in the original post, so when I saw them touting this like it was brand new and changes were made and Support loved it, only it's not, they weren't, and from what I saw they didn't, it just annoyed me.

i really like the top box idea. i like the little icons for each section. i don't like the two-column idea.

i don't like the two-column idea because people have gotten accustomed to having a playspace that fits in 800x600 (minus whatever the padding is and the width of the window, blah, blah).

there are some bugs in it that i'd like to see fixed. i've let them know.

Do you know anything about the types of accounts and corresponding services that are involved at this Vox place?

I looked around but everything seemed pretty generic hype-ish.

I'm just curious and you're always on the ball.

starter account: add people to your "neighborhood" (friend list), comment on entries/media, and fill out your bio/profile. if you navigate the site trickily enough, you can actually upload media as well.

standard account: all the above, plus stuff. you can actually post entries and customize your vox layout.

well... he's "The Intern" as a title, but i'm pretty damn sure that he's an "employee" as well.
