This fic captures everything I like about the new Batman & Robin. It's about negotiating what it means to be a family. I like the way all of the various batfolk try to figure out how to treat and react to Damian and I like that Bruce actually more or less figures it out.

Oh, yes! One side-effect of the wildly compressed timeline is that the Batfamily gets thrown together rather more precipitously than before. While I'm sorry to lose the long Bruce-Dick relationship followed by the developing Dick-Tim and Bruce-Tim relationships, it does make everyone's interconnections as a unified team rather interesting.
