I spent the night in the hospital with Gabe because my worst fear came true, he stopped breathing during the night on thursday, he is ok right now though, and they sent me home with a really good monitor.

I can't even imagine how that must have felt. Sorry to hear, but glad he is ok.

yeah it was the most terrifying moment i probably will ever have to go through, but i am glad that he is doing ok

that sounds awful...itd be terrified...do they know what caused it? im glad hes ok

they said that it could be sleep apnea, where the baby forgets to breath, but i won't know if he has it all the time until later this week cause they ran test for him over night friday and they had tubes in his nose and that made me cry when they put them in, but i am just hoping that they find out that nothing is wrong and that i am just the paraniod mom.

yeah. i hope that too. babies usually grow out of sleep apnea though. that would be so scary. im sure everything will be ok though.

aww. Jess, sorry to hear that. Hope he does alright from now on. I know how scared you must of been. For your sake and his I hope neither of you have to do it again. P.S. you are not a paranoid mom, protective and worried about your child which is COMPLETELY natural. Don't think for a second you are worrying too much. The parents who try to wake the child up and then just put them back to sleep after they have awaken are the bad parents. Ugh. You care for Gabe very much and I know you will be a great mother for him. Keep in touch Gabe is in my prayers.

Thanks sweetie, it was horrible, he is going to be alright though. He's healthy as a horse, I really want you to see him sometime soon, if you don't have any plans sometime on saturday i am going to be in indy in the afternoon time, if not i am sure you will see him sometime soon.
