Thanks to the shitty refereeing of the Korea-Swiss match on Friday night, quite a lot of Koreans have become very pissed off at FIFA.

So much so, that FIFA had to block "all incoming e-mail from South Korea".

Oh, boo hoo, so they can't take criticism. They neglected to mention, however, that they've actually blocked ALL KOREAN IP's. So I can't ( Read more... )

Oh, reading that article... The author of the article -- probably due to his lack of knowledge about Internet technology -- misinterpreted the statement about "messages from Korea." The original statement was nothing about e-mail and everything about "messages" -- which includes HTTP requests. The FIFA spokesman probably used "message" synonymously with "packet," which is more or less valid.
