You sir, who has recently been to Korea:

My work colleague will be doing a 3-week student exchange thing with a Korean university and is concerned there might be some sort of expected dress code for universities there. Anything she should worry about, or are they relaxed about that sort of thing?

If it's a private university, maybe.
I really doubt it though. Korean uni students are just as liberal and self-righteous as uni students anywhere else. All you need to worry about clothing-wise in Korea is that summer is freaking humid and winter is freaking freezing.

ok cool. She's going first week next month, so she's prepared for summer weather, just didn't want to be on the wrong side of any unspoken dress code for wearing something comfortable to class.
