Meme time!
And so, another meme makes its way into my journal, thanks to phantasiagirl. ♥
This time, it's designed specifically to make me think. Okay, not really, but here are the rules:
1. Comment on this and I will give you 3 fictional fandom characters.
2. Decide of the 3 whom you would marry, do, and/or dump.
3. Post this meme to your journal with your answers (pictures are optional).
These are the three characters she gave me along with my FINAL DECISIONS (which were very hard to make. ;o;)
[Marry] ♥ Miles Edgeworth ♥ Ace Attorney
Along with him being an extremely intelligent human being, I think the thing I would enjoy most about having Miles as a husband would be the peaceful moments we'd spend just drinking tea. I would probably frustrate him all the time (akin to how Gumshoe does) but I also think he needs that sort of every day silliness to keep him grounded. Overall, I think he is a very deep individual that cares a lot about those who manage to worm their way into his heart. He has some issues he needs help working out, but those little trials are part of what makes a life commitment like an adventure. And I almost forgot to mention he's awfully cute when you back him into a corner. Figuratively, of course~

OH BOY. While I'd love to make up excuses and try and make myself sound less shallow, let's face it. Spain's a cutie. I honestly would feel guilty to say I'd just be in it for the sex, because he's a really sweet guy and he tries so hard! I'd be in it for the food too, and the naps, and hell, I'd push him around if that's what he wants. What I guess I'm saying is---I wouldn't marry him, but rather it'd be a really close friends-with-benefits kinda thing. As much as I'd want to, I know I can't keep Boss all to myself. He's awful popular.

First of all, this doesn't have anything to do with communication issues. I just can't find it in myself to justify marriage or anything else with Link. Yes, he is courageous and chivalrous, but he also has a really big part to play in his life, and he doesn't need romance getting in the way to flub it up. Perhaps after all his journeying and adventuring, he will settle down with someone, but after years spent killing things and getting blood on his hands, would he really be able to connect with another person the same way? It's possible, but I feel it'd be a strained relationship at best.
HOWEVER. I WOULD BE SO EASILY WANT TO BE HIS BEST FRIEND/ ADVENTURE BUDDY. Who needs marriage or that other stuff when you can say you're friends with a legendary hero AND you helped him out?
