Kurage Worldwide Update!
You're probably wondering why I'm updating already (after all, it's only been two days), but I didn't want to lose momentum, and there have been several changes since the initial post, so here I am.
1. First of all,
333 members! NICE.
2. Here's what the map looks like now:
I've been playing around with it. On the bottom, we have a slideshow of everyone's pictures (we have 101!) and if you hover your mouse on one, that person's shoutout pops up. There's "Melancholic" playing in the background, although don't be surprised if you don't hear anything because my host most likely suspended my website for going over the data transfer limit. Can anyone suggest a way around that? Something that doesn't cost any money (because I'm broke). I'm also thinking of changing the song every now and then. Requests? Thoughts on how to organize that? Or maybe a bad idea? I've been playing around with the zoom/drag feature, too. It's amazing, I can see buildings and streets of my town o_0
3. Advertising: I've posted this on jrock_uploads, buranko_kara, Wikipedia (English) *It was on the Japanese page for a while, but it looks like someone deleted it, maybe because it wasn't official*, and the Pura sections on Japan Forum, Batsu (thank you, les_cuki, for the tip), Jpopmusic, J-Music Ignited, Asian Fanatics, and Tofu Records Forum.
Go ahead and post it where you think it'll attract more fans, but please leave a comment here (with the link to the board/forum you posted at) so we can keep track and shower you with love.
4. Most importantly, when should we send this to Buchi? I told the folks at jrock_uploads that this is a 10th year anniversary gift to the band, and les_cuki came up with the idea to send it on June 25th, the very day they released "Wareta Mado". Appropriate, no?
Lastly, any other ideas/suggestions are welcome and will be properly credited. Thanks, everyone :)
