Do you see a language you speak up there? To the bilingual (or multilingual) fans here, could you please add Kurage Worldwide to the Wikipedia Plastic Tree entries (it goes under "fansites" or "external links") in the remaining languages? Except Japanese, that is. I tried that already, and it seems someone edited it out (probably because it wasn't official). Signing up for a Wikipedia account is very simple. It doesn't even require an e-mail address.
Posting at JaME's forums would be great, too, since we haven't done that yet. edit: except for the Finnish one, thanks, veteenpiirretty! Any takers? Come on, how can you say no to these guys? Erm, replace Takashi with Buchi there...
Again, if you think of other places to post at (especially in other languages), go for it! Please don't forget to post the link here so we can credit you.
As for when to send this to Buchi, anterogradenova suggests doing so somewhat early to give Pura and their management time to plan for international shows(!) in the summer. Even if it's only a 1% chance, I'm willing to take it (Whoa, L moment!), but at the same time, I want to wait a little more for new members. We don't have to come to a decision right away. Let's keep it in mind for future deliberation, though. That said, we need someone comfortable with Japanese to write Buchi the message explaining this project. I really hope someone volunteers because my Japanese is still a few years away from fluency.
And last on the agenda (but arguably the most important): We need a new admin. It's been a week since I've been at it, and now it's time to let someone else take the reins for a while. Responsibilities include answering e-mails from map members (although this has only happened once so far) and maintaining the kurage_ww e-mail account, monitoring the map for inappropriate photos or messages, updating kurage on the project's development, and actively promoting Kurage Worldwide online.
If you're interested, please send me a message on Frappr (so I know you're a member) with the following information: LJ username, changes you want to make to (ie. background music?)--or any new ideas you have for--Kurage Worldwide. Depending on how many messages I get, the new admin will keep the job anywhere from 1-3 weeks. Everyone who applies WILL get a chance, unless I have good reason to doubt his or her credibility.
Hope to hear from you and thanks again for reading through and I'm sorry for being so demanding, but reaching the 500 mark makes me more determined than ever. ^^
