Kurt, I Know You'll Wanna Slap Me...

Just gonna get this out though.

My friends, I have dreamed often (between droughts of reality and common sense) of playing the guitar. A guitar like that you gotta earn. Learn to play, otherwise you just spent a significant amount of $$$ on a conversation piece. It's not fair to the guitar to be nothing but a decoration.

I think you're capable. Fuck, If I can play, anyone can.

(God those fret inlays are orgasmic. :F )

Yeah I was going to say Kaze that much like a pool cue, your first one should not be a work of the gods.

In fact until you develop significant skills on a pool table you shouldn't be spending more then $100 on a cue. ($40-50, really). I would assume a guitar is much the same way.

ps now you want to start a band!

Yeah. That's why I've pretty much relegated it to fantasy. Unless I learn to play, I'll never put the money down on it. I'm keeping my current guitar more for my kids than myself. I'd love to learn to play it, and I'm often tempted to pick it back up again... But mostly it's for my kids. Every child asks their parents if they can learn to play the guitar. My parents said "Why don't you learn the Piano first?" I'm gonna say "Fuck yeah, son! Here you go!"
