months of getting psyched up to b going to Columbia.. i have decided that CCC is a college for dumb rich kids with no artistic ability. open admissions, easy as hell to get in, no portfolio needed, but u have to fund ur education in its entirety.
went to the open house. (just got back late last night.) my mother LOVED the school. she LOVED the city. she LOVED the dorms and EVERYTHING. which is rare bc she hates everything i like.
EVERYTHING was PERFECT. then we went to SFS..
fucking loans was all i got. LOANS. aka i have to pay back in full. no free money. havent they ever heard of need-based financial aid? my parents barely? make 60k a year, i have another sibling in college already and 2 others at home.. even my mother was about to strangle the girl who told us.
have an interview for UofH on wednesday.. if i dont make it in there then JWU here i come.. will b most likely transferring out sophomore year no matter where i go tho..
*sigh* this fucking sucks.
sent in my demand for my deposits back today. gimme back my money u cheap thieving bastards.
