Walk to work. It will prove to be one of the more rewarding free experiences you'll have in life.

The best part about breaks in service is when they give you all the earned hours off you haven't used. And don't worry, they tell you before you leave if you're going to be back or not. Gives you time to shoot up the place if they decline to hire you again.

Tough call on the D Machine. Me, I'd love to have a car no matter what, but if you can't afford to maintain it in these pricey times, especially when it's unnecessary... but outside of work it is also a link to your friends, too, you know!
