yay indeed! of course it was only after I had it cut short that I remember I did the same thing in the summer, and ended up hating it XD oh well~ it'll grow out and it's easier to straighten this way <3

ESCAFLOWNE IS MY LOVE AND PASSION AND REASON TO LIVE. or something like that. Esca is my fav. anime series of all time. I own the anime box set and the limited edition movie boxset, which came in this really pretty box with this cool little FAQ book and the movie, soundtrack (which is also my fav. OST of ALL TIME) and 3rd DVD filled with extras. I'm not entirely sure why it is, either, to be completely honest, but it just blew my mind as a kid and has never left the giant piece of my heart it stole.

I don't think I ever properly followed Escaflowne [something I still regret] but I remember it being just gorgeous both visually and narratively and I still have a vivid memory of the super-gray-area characters. It probably one of the first things I saw with such morally ambiguous characters too.
