I have that mixer in bright, whorehouse red! Her name is Bella (I named her that WAY before the Twilight nonsense) and my LOVE for her is only second to my love for RJ, my dog! And during Christmas? She NEVER stops running!

You NEED one, trust me. You can even make homemade baby food in one as long as you have the whisk attachment to make it smooth. That is what my mom did for me when I was a baby back in the seventies.

P.S. Amazon usually runs a sale close to Christmas that takes about half off, or you might be able to pick one up at Kohl's or Sears for the same price.

P.S.S. If you can't get the artisan stand mixer like rubyphoenix and I have? Set the Kitchen Aid handheld mixer. A friend of mine has arthritis in her hands and she uses hers to make double batches of pfferneuse every year for Yule presents. She says it works just as well and she doesn't have to haul out her KitchenAid when her husband isn't home to get it down for her.
