Today, I figured out that I had severe culture shock. I was reading the program orientation booklet and I came across the symptoms of culture shock. There were a lot of different symptoms, and I suppose it's different for everyone. I hope your feeling better by now. Culture shock seems terrible, but i know once you shake it off, you will be having so much fun!!

Sushi in Japan sounds exciting!! And its good to see that they are feeding you well, ( starving korin in japan would be traaaagic)

I havent thought of a good scary dream for you to have since your there. The airport was the best nervous dream, and i will have to get back to you when i think of something better

and i asked some questions on it. but you already wrote about it.. i shouldve read this first lol

i know how you feel, but since i went to us with bunch of japanese kids. i didnt feel sadness, loneliness or something like that.
talk to your host family, homestaymate?, and me~~~ of course~~!! it takes time, but once you go over it, you will enjoy your life in japan hontoni and i hope so!!

all of experiences will not useless 頑張ってね!!
友達もたくさん作って、楽しもう~!!

I hope every day you start feeling better. It will be better after school starts I'm sure. It sounds like you have already had some adventures. I would have a hard time with all the fish. But you are probably right it is all in the way it is prepared. And it helps that it is so fresh.

Just enjoy all your experiences. And know all the fun you will have and all you will learn.

We all love you and miss you but get in the sun as much as possible and be happy!!!!

KORIN!!! ah!! I MISS YOU!!!! =]]] I hope with all the culture shock symptoms.. there are lots and lots of smiles and laughter as well. =D It'll get better over time. =] No worries!!
