this is probably one of my favorite fics by you? i don't know, the whole time i was reading this i just fell more in love with this au. i think i'm just a sucker for fics concerning home/family T__T
i love how you characterized jiho and mingyu ;; jiho as the responsible, older-by-four-minutes, but totally still petty twin and mingyu just being dumb mingyu LOL. i was so invested in the up-and-downs of them growing up that i honestly teared up at the end because the ending was just so perfect??? the way someone makes you feel at home rather than being at the physical place ;;;;
my favorite parts:
Sometimes, their mother would accidentally pack the wrong lunch box in her bag and Jiho would be taken aback at the amount of gochujang in the bibimbap (Mingyu likes his food spicy). Eventually, she would come to appreciate the spice.
