I've found Ibiki. ...And about a couple dozen other corpses. Some I recognize as shinobi, but hardly any from our village. Gods, he hung them from the trees and let them bleed...
After seeking and failing to reach a negotiable end, we engaged in combat. He's gotten a lot better since the last time we fought. So much so... it seems I've been critically wounded. I wasn't careful enough, and he's better with a sword than I imagined, and a lot of other factors that I didn't take into acount which is why I'm bleeding heavily from this lousy puncture wound in my abdomen. The kunai cuts and bruises I can take, but getting run-through with a blade takes a lot out of you...
This is no longer the Ibiki I remembered. ...At least that's what I thought. I was so sure he'd kill me, but instead, he... saved me. That pig-headed jerk threw me off, giving me medicine through a kiss. I'll kill him later.
