You're Fired!

I think I got someone fired.

I've never done anything like this before. But I was cornered by management and asked to give my honest feedback about a guy I work with. I hesitated for a few days before being cornered again, at which point I gave them probably much more feedback than they'd ever anticipated.

After telling them all the problems I saw

Is this the colleague who has been such a pain lately? He brought it on himself. In "this economical climate", wherein employers are looking for ways to save money, possibly by firing people, it's wise to behave oneself in the workplace. He forgot this. It's not as if you went and snitched; they wanted your opinion. They possibly (and I would hope they did, in a firing matter) asked others for their opinions, too.
