I realized today, not for the first time (though I was tempted to claim so), that in him I find all the things that I have lost. Although I'm younger than him, in comparison I am already jaded. I won't be laughing at the front row if you choose to call it a puzzle. :) I've noticed it too... You mull over a trait you dislike in yourself or try to fork out reasons for you feeling bad about something and suddenly, sometimes after weeks or even months (heck, who knows, perhaps years) the explanation hits you like ... a horizontally falling tree would, smack in the middle of the stomach. :D Usually it's something really simple but it feels huge.

This seems like the perfect place to take up a phoney-philosophical expression, stare into distance and whisper piously that perhaps all important things in life are simple and that the trouble is seeing the uncomplicated behind everything complicated. x)

Exactly. Sometimes you just don't realize that if you stop staring at the problem you'd find the answer in the bigger picture. I always tell other people that but I'm too silly to see it in my own life. ==''
