We were raised in similar environments, so we have a lot of the same interests and morals. I know exactly how this feels! I don't really have a lot of girl friends because I relate to guys much more easily. It can get pretty awkward at times. I'd love to have the same closeness with a girl as I do my guy friends.

The following night they turned it back on. But it remained off for New Years. My guess is that they didn't want people lingering too long around the tower past midnight.

Yes! Sometimes I really crave that same closeness with a female. The problem is that most of the girls I DO get along with are just as busy as I am, so while we exchange messages here and there, it's extremely hard to meet up.
