Get the moisturiser. Truly. You will absolutely need it mentally, not just physically.

Haha, your neighbour. They mustn't be very old if they think a baby can be told not to cry between certain hours of the day. 😂

Those pictures are so cute. I think everything will be great!

Happy New Year!!

I've decided to go ahead and get it. Rumor has it that there is going to be a pop-up shop selling Korean products, so I'm waiting to see if that happened. Maybe I can grab some samples before purchase, though I kind of know what I want to buy.

He must be in his 30's-40's. Pretty sure it's the same person who complained about dog noise at the peak of the pandemic too, lol. He's quite a strange fellow so I'll make sure to keep my distance, but he's going to have to deal with the crying.

You probably already bought it, but I was going to say if you're in the hospital awhile face cream and chapstick are a good idea because the air is so drying in there, as you probably know. I can relate to how you're measuring everything in formula cost, especially since one box of formula is only good two weeks after opening and then you have to throw it out. So painful.

Oh yes, I have a small kit prepared with my facial products, even though the hospital says they provide us with their own, save for chapstick. That, I still need to buy a new one, as mine are all tinted, and they don't allow those.

They're only good two weeks after opening?! I didn't know that! We're hoping we won't have to really buy so much formula.

I have a few middle fingers to share with that neighbour!!

Glad you're all ready. :)

That's probably wise to not go to the temple although I looked up Japan's COVID cases and they're so low!! That's so great and magical.

Happy New Year. :D

I literally laughed in his face at first, thinking he was joking. When I realized he wasn't, I went in to mommy mode and Ryu had to pull us back to our place, lol. People these days.

They seem low, but I don't believe the numbers even the slightest. Remember, this is the same country that denied having a COVID issue for the sake of doing the Olympics. Then as soon as they were delayed, our COVID situation was apparently horrible and we had to go in to lockdown and all this nonsense.

Then it "got better" when they were allowed to have it and athletes were coming, but got worse again once all the foreign athletes were gone.

I don't trust them one bit. But, I'm sure it's still better than a few other countries.

That is very interesting how you informed your neighbors you will have a baby as a courtesy. I wonder if that's common in Japan. It seems so very Japanese anyway. That neighbor's reaction was pretty rude. Hope y'all can get a house and not have to worry about such things.

Does it seem Japanese? I don't know -- I told Ryu we should as a courtesy because I would hate it if I suddenly had to deal with screaming every single night. No idea if anyone else does that, or if they let people just deal with it. If we lived in a house, I wouldn't have bothered.

We're hoping to move within the next two years! No one in our area seems to be moving though, and we really want to stay around here :/ :/

What rude neighbors. And you were so nice to inform them.

I would get the cream. Now that I am older I wish that I would have bought better skin care products for my face way back when. Now I use expensive serums. Pay now or attempt to repair skin later? imho

A goal for a life balance with a new baby seems very wise!

hugs, helen :)

If we lived in a proper house, I probably wouldn't have said anything to my neighbors. But in an apartment complex, a bit of courtesy is a good thing to have. It's their problem now, how they deal with it. They've been informed.

Yes, I've decided to go ahead and get a new moisturizer. I'm hoping to snag some samples first, as I heard that my usual one has a new line. Fingers crossed!

That makes sense in an apartment complex!

Yippee, you are getting the face cream. I am very happy for you. I like getting the samples first. I am loving the Clarin's Serum I use and then I get some less expensive face creams at at the local health food store.

The Clarin's Serum you use; Is it the Double Serum? I was looking at the Complete Anti-aging serum of theirs not too long ago.

I'm glad that your Christmas was relaxing :)

"I'm working remotely until March, so make sure it isn't noisy between X and Y times." - Pfft, yeah ok neighbor XD I'm sure the baby will keep your schedule in mind.

The baby looks so cute!

Ahhhhh I'm so excited for Attack On Titan!

I literally laughed when he told me that, until I realized he was serious. Really, it's easy to understand why he's single and hasn't had company these past seven years.

Yesssss, time is going by so slowly. It needs to be released now. The animation looks amazing compared to the first. They definitely aren't playing this time around!
