I'm so glad to hear everything went well and you're both as healthy as can be in this situation.
Yes, Covid and giving birth don't go well together and is a lonely experience. It's sad. :(

I really need some time to transer my newer entries to DW, but I'll stay with LJ as long as possible and I'm not sure I'll be ever really active on DW. Only time will tell....

Hopefully. We won't know if Reo has any health issues until he hits 3 months. They don't really diagnose anything unless it's a very obvious issue, until then.

Luckily, my stay was only about a week. A coworker of mine had to do a full month at a hospital with COVID restrictions. Even now, it seems her husband has issues connecting with the child :/ :/ :/

Ryu chose the Kanji! It took forever to decide.

LJ isnt really allowing for entry imports to DW anymore, it seems. It's extremely hit or miss. Hasn't worked for me in almost 2 weeks. And LJ will be gone soon after all this...

I know that sucks. My brother had the same issue but was able to connect to his daughter immediately after that. He just wasn't allowed to join the actual birth.

It does work, but it takes forever. I've given up trying on a weekend. I'll wait until next week.
I managed to sync my old entries. I've had them up to 2017, and now it's finally up to 2022, but not the comments yet. So, I'll keep trying. :( .....
I will stay on LJ until the ship sinks ...

Ryu wasn't able to meet Reo until I was released, so it had only been about a week. Not too bad, but he says it feels strange not having those memories and he feels robbed since he was absent start to finish.

For me, it never goes past the log in stage. It will import everything save for the entries and comments. I opened a tab with support center, and they told me that LJ was restricting cross-posting and they weren't sure when it would change, or if it would :/
Maybe it differs by country.
