COVID is slowly getting closer and closer. It wouldn't surprise me if one of us get it soon, or that we're asymptomatic positive.

I'm trying to create a routine that will let me post as frequently as I used to, but it doesn't seem likely :/ I see what you're up to on instagram. Just not entirely familiar with how to use it yet lol.

That kind of work environment can be stressful -- we have a high turnover rate. But I'm motivated by money and I've learned to block out the nonsense. As long as people use me as just a listening ear without expecting me to join drama, I'm good.

Which is the platform you're most active at the moment?
I'm mostly only using WhatsApp and Insta these days (and LINE for a few people).
No Facebook ... and for LJ rarely time. I suppose once winter comes and the next lockdown I can catch up with LJ. ;)

It really depends. I'm on instagram quite a bit these days but I don't post there much. It's more for looking at baby food recipes. I have Facebook, but I really only use it to keep up with info back home and talk with my dad. I post if someone asks me if I'm alive. I use whatsapp to talk to my sister and brother. Line, of course, because it's Japan and I need to talk with friends....

But in general, I'm not the greatest at being frequent anywhere ^^;;;

he's getting so big! he is so adorable! Do what you feel most comfortable with as far as food. Colette did a lot of purees and a lot of BLW, but it's best to do what you're comfortable with! You're a good mom :)

Thank you. I definitely want to do more BLW, but at the moment, I'm still terrified of choking. Maybe when he shows more interest. Now, I give him a few spoonfuls to make sure he actually tastes food, then give him the bowl and spoons and let him do as he will.

It's awesome to see you're doing well and were able to take some time for yourself and enjoy dessert and taking purikura with your friend.
And yeah it's hard to follow books and ideas people tell you about how to raise your child because each kid is so unique. Do what you feel is best and what works for you.

I'm not really following any books or anything -- just going on instinct and asking my folks when I have a question or concern. Mostly running on common sense... but my MIL seems to have very specific ways and she pushes them :/ :/ :/

My MIL is also very specific for certain things and caused a lot of fights in our marriage since the beginning. You'll learn how to handle her over time.

Hopefully it goes away as quickly as it came. We've never had problems before. It all started around mid-August for whatever reason.
