NOTE: Moderators are not limited to rejecting posts that match one or more of the above rejection reasons. We are not going to be reject-happy and reject posts just because we feel like it. However, if moderators agree that certain posts are inappropriate for the community or should be modified in order to best meet the needs of the community, those posts will be rejected and given an adequate explanation.
I normally wouldn't be here, but someone made a point to bring this to my attention. I'm sorry you disagree with our methods, dear.
I understand that you won't be reject-happy, but at the same time, I guess I was really, really surprised that those posts containing downloads of entire albums were approved. I know that you must have looked at each and every post before approving them, but it seems that the moderating team's actions are contradictory (to the community's rules) at times. Also, I am a bit confused as to why you quoted this particular part of the rules? *is confused* ^^; Because I am not directing my thoughts towards any rejection of posts, it's the approval of certain posts that I am wondering about
( ... )
I'm showing that because it was mentioned that we "broke our own rules" within the last month. It's states in the rules that we are not limited to what is specifically stated, and we deal with them on an individual basis. You're not aware of the amount and type of posts we reject and/or accept

Exactly my thoughts! (c-sraed, a.k.a Cheri linked your page). I joined the comm in question (I'm sure others named the comm already, but just in case) because I wanted to have good Gackt resources and have a place where I could discuss Gackt related topics.
But as of late (probably this has gone on for the past month or two) I've been seeing a release of Gackt's discography around for downloading. I don't mind if the idea of having downloads went through in a positive manner (i.e. the rotations), but to put up one whole album continuously is quite questionable.
It's okay. :D The reason why I didn't name the comm, as obvious as it is, is so that I don't catch random wankers coming in here. ^^;
I agree with you, you know - I only joined in the fun of LJ very late last year , and I feel that I've seen it go from what was a flourishing community to a slowly-dwindling-down kind of community. And don't get me wrong, I want it to do well too. As the community grows, the moderating team will have more and more to do, and they (as in whoever the moderators will be) have to be able to allocate time resources and properly manage the comm.
Anyways, I am blabbing. :P Thanks for your comments too~
Yes, having to moderate a comm as huge as the one we've joined can be taskful... To solve this, adding a few more moderators would probably be a good idea.
And you're welcome for the comment ^_^. I'm still waiting for Euphoria too (I saw someone else's comment about waiting :P). Just anticipating for the forum to open makes me happy XD.
