It's been three days now. He's pretending nothing happened, but it's not working and he knows it.
What the hell is he thinking anyway? He can't hide everything under that stupid grin. It's beginning to break, I can tell. What's going to happen when it finally does I don't know.
He always keeps one step in front, just out of my God damn reach. You would think that kissing him would shut him up for a few minutes, but no, do that and he just runs.

There's definitely something beneath all that bullshit he puts on, but he's not letting anyone see it, me included. Something has to be stopping him or else he wouldn't have pulled away like he did. There has to be something else. Or else he really is just a shallow bastard.
The kid probably doesn't have a clue. Never really know with that one though, he's pretty perceptive when he wants to be. He said something about family, if that's us then it's a pretty fucked up one.
