Time, Internet?... Is it really that time again?
I had a flurry of pics to choose from this week, but I'm not sure whether I want to post pictures of people really. It seems like that might be too mundane. Every week would be a goofy picture of ari or a pretty picture or erin or something else. Hmm, I'll probably post people if the picture really deserves it ;)
Well, it was my birthday this week. The Big 19? No new abilities to speak of. It was pretty good. I've gotten money from most of my family with some knick knacks from my nani for the apartment. Erin also got me the Flying Spaghetti Monster Bible ;D. I've had multiple birthday dinners all week, with at least 2 more to go ;O. I'll be leaving sometime soon to go with erin to Bones for a birthday dinner. I can't wait for some yummy steak.
My mom got back yesterday late night, so that puts an end to... nothing really. Lately I've been hanging out with Erin or Matt and Allen. Went to go see Superman, which I thought was only so-so. Kevin Spacey seriously is the man, but I hated the Superman himself. Really, although that super hero is necessary, I hate him. One of your basic powers should not be invulnerability. That one scene with Lex Luthor explaining his plan pretty much made the movie worth it though. That and the Spiderman 3 trailer, yum.
So, some of you may have heard that I can no longer get my new computer at the end of summer, which really blows. My nani did a quick calculation at some point of how much money she was going to owe me, and decided that it was time to put a limit to how many hours I can work a week from now on. So I'll be able at best make around 60/200 hours of my goal over there. That coupled with the money I got from my bday and from my savings still puts me several hundred dollars short, so if anyone knows a good way to get some cash, send me an IM. Looks like I'm gonna miss good graphics with Spore and Episode 2 ;(. I considered using my current money and increasing my spending power for a PC on eBay, but you know what they say about eBay
So now that I'm cut off from working, what am I up to? Why, watching animu of course.

No, I mean Animu.
For those of you who don't know. Animu normally has boobs and antics, Anime normally has giant robots and fighting. Non-Serious vs. Serious.
So here's a short list of what I've been watching with a blurb, how many episodes I've seen out of the total, and what kind of anime/u it is:
Akane Maniax [1/3]- Animu - Ho boy, hearing an anime that's based in the same universe as Kimi Ga Nozumo Eien is bad end instantly. This is a tad bit more light hearted than Kimi Ga. It's only 3 episodes, so no one can go Comatose, so I'll probably watch the rest of it.
Amaenaido Yo [2/13] - 'Mu to the Max - JESUS CHRIST, TALK ABOUT 'MU. Basically, a story of a teenage shinto priest in training at a shinto shrine where, guess what, all the other trainees are girls from ages 12 - 20. Oh yah, and he has hidden powers to exorcise demons that can only be released when he sees a girl naked. Dear God. The 'mu, the 'muuu. This was downloaded on a whim because I believe it was marked as popular on the site I got it from. I doubt I'll be watching more of this.
Ape Escape [-] - uhhh - Yah. The Ape Escape anime. I watched about 2 minutes of this and decided I might watch it with erin.
Bakuretsu Tenshi [16/24] - Anime - Hmm, this series is interesting. Group of 4 girls are mercenaries in future Tokyo and hire a guy chef to cook them food. Sounds 'mu, but he's in each episode for a max of 30 seconds. It's pretty good, but lack of a story is kinda killing it for me. Great character designs though.
Fate Stay Night [3/24] - Anime - Animes based of h/e-games are always kinda shifty, but this one seems solid and allen says it's great. So I suppose I'll be watching this one more. Basically, a impossibly nice guy gets caught up in a war for the Holy Grail with 6 mages who all control powerful tools of woopass, their servants.
He is My Master [9/12] - Animuuuu - This is a funny series about a rich snob kid who forces 3 girls to be his maids after they rack up a debt from destroying his shit. Apparently, the next 3 episodes actually try to be serious, so this a low priority for me currently. SUNNY SIDE UP!
Kashimashi [3/12] - Animu - This is a weird series. Story: Some girly dude declares his love and gets rejected. He climbs a mountain to cry it out and gets hit by a fucking huge spaceship, killing him instantly. The aliens rebuild him, but for no reason given they change his gender, which actually suits him better. So the first few episodes are him acclimating to girlhood and having his previous crushes question their lesbianism. It's actually pretty funny, so I'll probably keep watching.
Kono Minikukumo Utsukushii Sekai [0/12] - ? - I haven't seen this yet, but most people say it's pretty cool shit, so I downloaded it. We'll see.
Kyou no Go no Ni [1/5] - Animu - This currently being referred to by Allen and I as the loli Azumanga Daioh. So it's funny shit. There aren't any other episodes out, so that might be the end of me watching that ;(
Ninja Gaiden [1/1] - Jesus Christ - How is it possible to make Ryu Hayabusa gay, cause they've done it.
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya [13/14] - Anim... I dunno - This anime wins, straight up. Basic Story: Total pimp meets a girl who's "only interested in Time Travelers, Aliens and Espers". Random shit ensues. Really hard to explain, but I'm loving it. The last episode comes out next week.
Yakitate Japan [1/69+] - Anime - Everyone says this is really good, so I figure I should probably watch it. Some dude is trying to make a bread that can be called the bread of Japan ( Ja - pan, get it?). Solar Hands ftw.
So that's the list of my current endeavors, as well as maybe reading Tsubasa. If anyone has anything (besides SEED) that I have to add to the list, tell me.
Not much in the game department this week. I've pretty much stopped Lineage, but who knows, I might play some again eventually. I got the New Super Mario Bros for DS and beat that in about a day. I'm still going back to 100% complete it. Oh, I downloaded the single player demo for the PC/360 FPS Prey. It was pretty fun, but more than anything it was hilarious. Your guy is such a jackass it rocks. He picks up some random gun and says "Look like I can kick some serious fucking ass with this shit". Made by the same people who Duke Nukem, so it makes sense. It's fun, go download it.
I saw 40 year old virgin a few days ago. Godamn that was stupid. It had funny parts, but it was stupid. Wedding Crashers anyone?
Oh yah, shit, I went to 6 Flags. It was sweet as hell, as 6 Flags normally is. We almost got rained out, but it let up in the afternoon and we were able to go on most everything besides Goliath ;(.
I got to see AJ and Mike for the first time since Tech this week, which was definitely cool. I really hope that Doug is coming back to Tech, I'll be sad if he doesn't.
