Wow. Just... Wow. Amazing... I've never read a drabble before that's had this much of an impact on me. I love your portrayal of Fai here, because really, Fai is the type who'd bleed, who'd suffer in silence for those he cares about. And the way that he just resigns himself to the fact that he loves not only Kurogane, but the rest of the group as well. On the spot characterization and a beautiful, fluent read! Like I said before, just wow! ^_^

I'm very happy to hear that it worked for you and that you liked it so. I love Fai for his smiles and playfulness as well, but I couldn't resist something that explored what was actually lying beneath all that ^^;

I haven't read many Kuro/Fai fanfics, but I really appreciated this one. Very well written. I love this line,
"Fai smiles, and it is sad, but knowing, resigned and beautiful."
