Synopsis: They knew that as soon as the silence was broken, it would be over. Nothing would be left but the burning memories of the two of them.

Hands resting on Reita’s chest, Ruki stood in front of the other.
“Please…”, a sobbed whisper escaped his lips.
“Ruki..”
“Please, Reita. Just this one last time”, he lifted his gaze, eyes filled with tears as he looked into Reita’s sorrowed ones. “Please, make love to me”
Silence filled the room, the two staring at each other.
“I can’t”, Reita finally answered, his voice almost betraying him. “It wouldn’t be right”
“I don’t care”, Ruki said stubbornly, lowering his head again, the first tears falling from his eyes. “This is all I ask from you. One last time. Nothing more..”
Reita cupped Ruki’s face with his hands, making the redhaired man look at him. Slowly he leaned forward, capturing the slightly trembling lips into a tender kiss. Placing his hands on Reita’s hips, Ruki guided the other over to the bed. Gently Reita laid him down, hovering over him as he hesitantly broke the kiss. Not looking Ruki in the eyes but somewhere beside him, he let out a sigh.
“Ruki, I..”, he started, tracing patterns with his fingers on Ruki’s chest, feeling the other shiver as this intook a breath. He was silenced as Ruki pressed a finger on his lips and his eyes found Ruki’s.
“Shh..”, the shorter man smiled a gentle yet sad smile. “Don’t think. Just let the feelings lead you.”
Giving a small nod, Reita leaned down, kissing Ruki’s lips softly.
“Reita..”, the soft moan escaped Ruki’s lips as with one deeper thrust Reita made the vocalist’s back arch slightly. Nails digging to Reita’s back, Ruki whimpered. It was so painfully beautiful how they fit together, perfectly, like they were made for each other. Every move, every breath matching the other’s. They were one yet not the same.. not anymore. This was their goodbye. Ruki bit on his lip trying to stop his tears. Every little sound escaping his lips was so bittersweet and fragile. The warm stream running down his face reminding him that this was a lie.
A hand on his cheek made Ruki look up, only to notice Reita’s sad eyes watching him. Reita stilled his motions, gently wiping Ruki’s tears away. He buried his face in the crook of Ruki’s neck, breathing in the familiar scent.
“Please, Ruki. Don’t cry”, his shaky voice reached Ruki’s ear causing him to let out a strangled sob. “I don’t want you to cry as I make love to you..”, he continued, brushing his lips against Ruki’s neck to then move up, finding Ruki’s lips and pressing his own against them.
“I love you”, Ruki whispered against Reita’s lips as the kiss broke. Forehead pressed against Ruki’s, Reita bit on his lip, his vision turning blurry. Leaning forward he claimed Ruki’s lips in a loving kiss as he withdrew slowly. Breaking the kiss, he pushed back inside with a grunt. Ruki whimpered as Reita built a rhythm again, thrusts deep and slow, making the vocalist moan and tighten his hold on the other‘s body.
Silently Reita wished that this would last forever, this moment. But Ruki was close, he knew it. And he wasn’t far behind himself either. Slowly trailing his hand down Ruki’s abdomen to his length, muscles quivering under his touch, he started stroking the other the same pace as he thrusted into Ruki’s body.
“Come for me”, Reita breathed, forehead pressed against Ruki’s.
One more thrust and Ruki came, Reita’s name leaving his lips as a loud sob. It didn’t take long before Reita was sent over the edge as well. Burying himself deep inside Ruki he came, groaning in his throat. He collapsed on top of the vocalist, their breathing uneven and hearts beating fast inside their chests.
“Don’t”, Ruki’s voice broke the silence between them as Reita was about to pull out, “Let me hold you like this, just a little longer”
“Ruki..”
“Please”, the tears were falling from his eyes again as he pleaded, tightening his hold. Reita knew he couldn’t decline it from Ruki. Afterall, he had done nothing wrong. This wasn’t his fault. Sighing, Reita gave in, relaxing his body.
They stayed like that, in each other’s embrace for a long time. Neither said anything, neither could.. They knew that as soon as the silence was broken, it would be over. Nothing would be left but the burning memories of the two of them.
“I have to go”, Reita finally said. The words made Ruki’s heart skip a beat and reluctantly he let go of the bassist. Reita pulled out, making Ruki whimper slightly, and rose from the bed. Ruki sat up on the mattress, legs bent and pressed against his chest as he watched Reita picking up his clothes and dressing up.
“Why…?” the question that rolled out of his mouth was merely a whisper. Reita stopped on his tracks and looked at the sad figure on the bed.
“Don’t make this harder than it already is”, he said, voice trembling as he swallowed his own tears. He walked over to the bed, hand smoothing the soft hair before moving to rest on Ruki’s cheek. A sob escaped Ruki’s mouth and he closed his eyes, leaning into the other’s touch as the salty trail of tears ran down his cheek. Warm lips were pressed against his forehead, a brief brush of lips on his skin and then it was gone, as was the hand on his cheek.
“I’m sorry”, were the last words Reita said to him before the bedroom door opened and closed not long after.
When the sound of the front door falling shut reached his ears, Ruki threw himself on the bed. Clutching a pillow, he buried his face to it, finally letting out all the emotions he'd been holding back till now. The only thing that could be heard was his crying, echoing in the now empty apartment.

A/N: hmm... wanted to write this last weekend but just.. couldn't.
Then I wrote this some days ago but wasn't comfortable with it so I didn't post until now.
It changed quite a bit from its original form and it's still not like it was supposed to be but I guess I'm pleased with it O.o xD
