Synopsis: These were the moments he longed for during the cold nights that he spend away from his lover.

The morning sun shining through the curtains woke Ruki from his sleep. Slowly opening his eyes, he tried to adjust to the brightness that surrounded him. A small smile rising to his lips as he noticed the other person lying next to him on the white sheets.
Reaching out his hand, he moved a couple of lonely strands of hair from the person’s face, loving the way this scrunched his nose at the action. Leaning forward, Ruki pressed his lips on the smooth forehead, backing away only a moment later.
There was a soft murmur heard before the other opened his eyes, meeting Ruki‘s loving gaze. Smiling, he wrapped his arms around the small frame of his lover, pulling him closer. A small giggle left Ruki’s lips and he laid his hands on the other’s slim waist.
Plump lips brushing against soft ones before capturing them in a sweet and gentle kiss of good morning. A couple of pecks on his lover’s lips before Ruki buried his nose in his neck. Breathing in the other’s scent with a deep breath as the arms around him strengthened their hold.
Ruki felt so safe in those strong arms. These were the moments he longed for during the cold nights that he spend away from his lover. It was only them and the silence, and the morning sun. No words were needed. No words were wanted to break the harmony. Moments that they both wanted to savor.
Ruki nuzzled more firmly against the warmth of the other’s body, leaving a tiny kiss on the bare shoulder. Closing his eyes, he let out a sigh, feeling the sleep get him again. If it was up to him, he’d never want to leave the shelter of the other’s embrace. Forever is his own personal sanctuary.
