Moving sucks

Mar 02, 2009 09:37

So, since Feb 1 I've been moving from my old unit in Mass to Cape May, so about 3 weeks or so was spent for my checkout process and setting up the movers, etc. FYI, having professional movers come and pack up all your stuff is just kinda a wrong feeling. I left a few days later headed toward Cape May, NJ ( Read more... )

I enjoyed Deadlocked, and found the multiplayer mode (when I last played it with Kevin) to be very enjoyable, and actually harder than single player, since you don't have your robots killing everything for you. I'm trying to think of a good low end pc game that I can pick up, as I had to return the PSP I was borrowing. My laptop won't handle anything new (as much as I would love to try playing Dawn of War 2), so I might try to find a copy of Disciples 2 or something like that for the upcomming patrol.

I just hope the family that lives above my apartment will be relitevly quiet. Young kids, so we'll see.

I've heard really good things about the Witcher, which runs on a modified Neverwinter Nights engine. Other low end games that I've heard good things about have been Spiderweb Software's games, they're pretty in depth and long, and interesting, if you can ignore the not-so-great graphics, and I played a bit of a demo and thought it was pretty interesting. You can also check out Gog games for a bunch of older PC games that you buy and download the ISOs for.

Heh, good to hear from you. I'm pretty sure that you congratulated us, but regardless, thanks. I've heard good and bad things about Ar Tonelico II but glad that you're enjoying it. I've been playing Phantom Brave and assorted Genesis games at the moment, while 'shelle's been enjoying Disgaea 3. Also finally beat Persona 3 a few weeks ago, which was pretty satisfying. Also finally getting around to beating Etrian Odyssey for the DS, so I can move on to its sequel.

Glad to hear you're doing well too, house is a pretty damn good deal, the one bdr apartment I'm at is like 3/4 of the cost (but then, only utilities I'm paying for are electric and internet, and I'm within walking distance of campus).

After playing a little farther in ArT 2 last night, I can say that there is a third returning character, but he's in a minor role this time, and in one of the cosmospheres that I was locked out of, so I can't say much more than that.

I'm still worried about the apartment though, yeah it's big and all, but it's all not including utilities, which I think will include water here. And unlike yourself and Brandon above, I don't plan to have roomates (though a live in girlfriend might be nice in the future), hehe.
