No, I'm not.

[He's not turning toward his Sphere, but he does pause in his card throwing, so.] Duel Monsters cards are designed to be durable - if they get damaged, the Duel Disks have trouble reading them, which can cause problems. They can really only be ruined if you're specifically trying to, like tearing them in half or pouring a bucket of water on them or something.

Besides, my deck's been through more than just me throwing it at a wall, and the cards are fine.

[A slight shrug. Also what could be taken as a slight smile.] I don't know all of the details as to how they're made. But there's a reason why Industrial Illusions is such a well-respected company where I come from.
