Okay, now that I've spoken to both parents this morning, I've come to somewhat of a conclusion

Well, I'm bitter, but just toward helping her rather than the entire concept of helping people who need it. If nothing else, I've learned that I can't just help out people blindly. Honestly though this pisses me off not because of the amount of money, but the principle - this, at the time, was all my money.

You were right before though, I swear. Trials of Az, sometimes. But I'm the only one who can fix it, and that's well underway.
