So those shirts I was waiting on for Motoko? They arrived today... and yeah... I don't know, they're not great. I feel very let down by them somehow. Bah. In future, if I ever talk about buying anything Divas-by-Designs again, please remind me not to do it. Something about the way her pieces are made just doesn't agree with me. I know how to sew in theory, but because I'm a would-be perfectionist with no experience or training whatsoever, I will work on something for hours and hours and hours. I'll give myself a massive headache by becoming extremely frustrated and even when I take a break, I'll still be constantly visualizing how I should go about putting something together. I also have a real issue being able to appreciate anything that I make - I'm too close to it. I've seen every single little millimeter of it and I know every spot where I messed up. It prevents me from being able to accept it.

In a way, I'm far more forgiving of other people's work... if you can believe that one. I know it seems impossible given how very picky I can be sometimes. LOL!
