Type O Negative

So last night I got to go out and have do some actual relaxation type stuff. Miranda had the night off, and Type O Negative was playing at First Avenue. Oh, and she had a hot new goth outfit and wanted to go out. Kind of a spur of the moment thing - but that is sometimes a lot of fun

Ive seen Type O Twice, and have never been disappointed. I knew they covered Cinnimon Girl, She's so Heavy & Summer Breeze, but was unaware of the others.

Had not seen them before, and they started out with Magical Mystery Tour. I was a bit in shock, as that was not a song I had expected to hear. And with Pete's deep voice? Very different.

Only annoying part was their two "encores". Left the stage, and came back. Then left the stage again, and came back. That was kind of strange. Though I think the first time may actually have been for a bathroom break.

I remember they did something similar with the encore the first time i saw them. The second time, they were opening for Queensryche of all bands, and they played too long. The Queensryche roadies just started removing their equipment from the stage while they were still using it. I dont know if it was planned or not, but finally Pete's the only guy left on stage. He said "I guess that means were done" dropped the microphone, and walked off. It was different :)

Type O concert's are always a great time. I have fond memories of the time me and some friends saw them perform twice in one week - road tripping college days with a marked lack of college.

Anyway, kudos to you and your hot lady.
