I'm currently going "wtf is this kind of shit?" at an RP progressing. It's just so unrealistic and seven degrees too painful to read. I hate people who come back and promise that they've changed the way they RP and that they believe they're more "realistic" but their RPs prove that they don't even read their own application posts. That's why the ( Read more... )

Tell me about it. I now completely feel your pain from the previous instance. It's so hard to keep your own muse IC when you're getting thrown curveballs that are the direct opposite of what you expected of the muse from reading their claim. (though I'm trying my damnedest... I thank God that it was one of my more assertive and confident muses that was targeted -__-) I think even my muse is going "wtf kind of psycho have I introduced myself to? -__-" I mean, seriously, it's one thing for my muse, with his personality, to throw out casual remarks about public sex with a stranger, that's just him, he doesn't care about shit like that, and doesn't think of new people he meets as "strangers". But one who is supposed to be shy and pretty much reclusive should not be offering up "more than just friends" or telling his whole sexual background to a virtual stranger.

I really hate it when people don't read their own claim posts. Seriously, if they're fond of RPing like they say, it should be common sense by now that claim posts are the basic guides to how they should RP their muse. This new one just seems to me like someone with split-personalities. Just because it's AU doesn't mean that everything else is unrealistic.

Yeah, exactly. This one is just... not even showing signs of being the same person in the claim. At least in the past, they started off similar to the claim for the first couple of days. It's like.... regression instead of progress. -__-

And I'm rather tired of dealing with people like her in my comm. Seriously. -__-

There are the people that do crazy shit with their characters--no gradual change or anything, just a total ridiculous insane change for no reason.

And then there are the ones like me, who, when time is actually available, procrastination occurs and then nothing happens at all and, yes, I am horrible for that. Sometimes I honestly don't know why you guys keep me around in that comm and I'm sorrrryyyy. :/ *clings to*

See, with you, you keep your muse in character. This new muse I'm monitoring is just...ugh...she did the same thing before, BSing her claim post and then making her muses do a complete 180. It's understandable if it's just one occurrence, but she's done this with every muse she's claimed. I mean, her claim post is all about her muse being somewhat too busy for real human interaction, naive, shy, etc etc etc, but then thrust that muse into an RP situation and suddenly, the muse is trying to get into another muse's pants. THAT'S what irritates me. It's like the mun never read the important stuff she posted in her claim in the first place.

And as for being busy, that's okay. I keep you on the comm because your muses stay in character. That doesn't disrupt the comm. When muses start acing out of character, it throws RPs in a loop and doesn't make the RPing experience very enjoyable. I'm sorely tempted to just smack that girl now... she's done this way too many times. -__-

I have at least logged in and updated the characters on the f-lists, if nothing else. I know exactly who you are talking about and I kind of want to go asldkfjawpoeijpwoiegjpwoeigj because who in the hell has a shy, reserved character do a complete flip like that ( ... )

I KNOOOOOWWW! That's why it's so frustrating because she's done it more than once to other muses! *headdesks* She claims a muse, RPs for maybe a week or so (and completely OOC at that), then pulls a disappearing act. Then she reappears and says she's changed but it's wash, rinse and repeat. ad nauseum. -___- GRAAAARGH.

(and no, she doesn't. which is why I was wondering what you'd say about it XD)

Well, as long as you're comfortable with keeping your muses still, I don't see how we can't develop other storylines for them or something. xD And I don't think you should force yourself to RP. Life is busy for all of us lately, so however slow the pace is, as long as we're keeping our muses in character, it's okay.

And Maggie misses Uruha too. XD
